🎉 A BIG THANK YOU TO THE CITY OF COCKBURN! 🎉

Western Australian Ice Racing is incredibly grateful to the City of Cockburn for supporting our club through its Equipment Grant Program.

Thanks to this funding, we have been able to upgrade our safety mats at Cockburn Ice Arena, helping to create a safer training environment for our skaters.

In a sport like short track speed skating, where athletes train at speed and falls are part of the learning process, having appropriate safety equipment is essential. These upgraded mats provide improved impact protection and greater peace of mind for our skaters, coaches and families.

This investment is more than just equipment — it's an investment in the safety, development and future of our athletes.

Thank you, City of Cockburn, for investing in local sporting clubs and helping us provide safer opportunities for our community to get involved in ice racing! ❤️
