End of Year Presentation and Awards

The Western Australian Ice Racing community came together to celebrate another successful season at the WAIR End of Year Presentation and Awards.

The evening provided an opportunity to recognise the achievements of athletes throughout the year, with medals presented for WAIR State Championship performances and awards acknowledging dedication, improvement, and sporting excellence across all age groups and divisions.

One of the highlights of the presentation was the awarding of the Nizielski Cup, which recognises the family that has made an outstanding and ongoing contribution to our club. This award celebrates commitment, reliability, and a positive attitude, honouring those whose efforts help make our club a welcoming and successful community both on and off the ice.

The Most Improved Skater and Perpetual Trophy awards were also presented, recognising athletes who have demonstrated significant development, perseverance, and commitment throughout the season.

Importantly, the evening also served as an opportunity to thank and celebrate our volunteers. From coaches and officials to committee members, parents, and supporters, the club relies on the generosity and dedication of many people behind the scenes. Their contribution is essential to the success of our programs, competitions, and events.
